He is survived by: his wife Mary Stewart Eshelman; his children, Christine Casavant (Gilles) and Tim Eshelman (Beth); his grandchildren, Meagan, Gabrielle and Grant; his sisters, Anne Denniston (Richard) and Mary Lou Farr (John); and his sister-in-law Edith Rosenblatt.

Memorial donations may be made in Tom's name to Transitions Life Care, 250 Hospice Circle, Raleigh, NC 27607.
