He was predeceased by: his parent Robert Lincoln; his daughter April Richardson; and his brothers, Edward Richardson and Robert Perry Richardson. He is survived by: his parent Alice Keller Richardson; his daughter Alana Richardson (Vicki); his grandchildren, Brady Richardson, Riley Richardson of Winston-Salem and Rosie Richardson of Winston-Salem; and his siblings, James Richardson (Carolyn) of Mocksville, Ronald Richardson of Statesville, Martha Madeline Lapish of Mocksville, Virginia Mullis of Lewisville, Shelby Cartner (Jim) of Harmony, Christine Speer of Mocksville and Barbara Reavis (Lane) of Harmony. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
