It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Julia Tingen of Walkertown, North Carolina, who passed away on June 6, 2021, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Julia Tingen to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph K. Harper and Julia Batts Harper; her stepmother Ruth Tolston Harper; and her brother Joseph Ray Harper. She is survived by: her husband John Tingen; and her children, Janet T. Neal (Robert), Julius Tingen (Julie) and Joel Tingen (Angela). She is also survived by eleven grandchildren; ten great grandchildren; and numerous extended family.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in Julia's name to Morris Chapel United Methodist Church at 2715 Darrow Road, Walkertown, NC 27051.
