He was predeceased by: his parents, William Paul Bishop and Fleecy Spell Bishop; his brother W. P. Bishop; and his sister-in-law Margaret Bishop. He is survived by: his daughter Michelle Fields (Joe); his sisters, Ann Thornton (Freddie) and Diana Lewis (Alan); his grandchildren, Falisha Bishop, Austin Bishop, Abagail Fields and Addison Fields; and his girlfriend Mary Fann. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 11th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Crumpler-Honeycutt Funeral Home (118 Fayetteville St, Clinton, NC 28328). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 11th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Saturday, October 11th 2025 at the Spell-Tyndall Cemetery.
