He was predeceased by: his parents, John Coleman Fleming and Emma Lou Fleming. He is survived by: his wife Everlyna Norwood Fleming; his son David Earl Fleming Johnston; his stepchildren, Fred Powell, Jr., Sheila Powell Robertson, Reginald Glenn Norwood, Marshall Ray Norwood and Rita Norwood Williams; and his siblings, John Boyd Fleming, Wilson Fleming (Pat), Thomas Peete Fleming (Judy), Minnie Lou F. Buffaloe and Ora Mae F. Harmon (Charles). He is also survived by numerous step-grandchildren and step- great grandchildren.
