It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Hillmon Brent Poythress (Warrenton, North Carolina), who passed away on April 11, 2024, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by : his grandparents, Carey, Mary Newsome Dillard and Dale Poythress. He is survived by : his parents, Richard Poythress and Cindy Dillard Poythress; his children, Vaiden S. Poythress and Lydian C. Poythress; his sister Carey L. Parker; his grandmother Sarah Royster Poythress; and his girlfriend Angela Whitney. He is also survived by numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.

A reception was held on Sunday, April 14th 2024 from 1:30 PM to 3:00 PM. A burial was held on Sunday, April 14th 2024 at 3:00 PM at the Fairview Cemetery.

The family asks that in lieu of flowers that memorials be directed to Inez Baptist Church or to the American Heart Association.
