She was loved and cherished by many people including : her sons, Charles Kersey, Jr. of Warrenton and Herman Long, Jr. of Warrenton; her brother Jimmie Baskett (Paulie) of Plymouth Meeting, Pennsylvania; her daughter-in-law Yvonne Kersey of Henderson; her sister-in-law Myrtle D. Hawkins of Norlina; and her friend Herman Long, Jr.. She was also cherished by four grandchildren; four great-grandchildren and four great-great grandchildren.
