He was predeceased by : his parents, Coy C. Wood and Edna Whaley Wood; and his sister Patricia Zirgis. He is survived by : his wife Faye Hall Wood; his sons, Allen Franlkin "Frankie" Wood (Christal) of Kenansville and David Kevin Wood (Elizabeth Lethola) of Minneapolis, Minnesota; his grandsons, Zachary Lane Wood and Ethan Caleb Wood; and his siblings, Coy Chipman Wood (Judy) of Beulaville and Lennetta Kay Knowles (Donald) of Wilmington. He is also survived by grandfather to his two grandchildren.
