She was predeceased by : her parents, Johnie Hand and Katie Williams Hand. She is survived by : her children, April Hand Newkirk (Wendell Bullock) and Darrin Hand (Velesa Nickelson); her grandchildren, Mirandia Hand Belvin (Marcus), Montonio Hand of Edward, Amanda Hand, Darius Hand, Julius Hand and Jordan Newkirk; and her siblings, Jessie Ladson (Cleveland), Betty Lowe, James E. Hand (Tracy), Brookie Moore and Denise Jefferson (Tyrone). She is also survived by eleven great grandchildren.
