We are sad to announce that on September 14, 2023 we had to say goodbye to Margaret Hayes Wood Oakley of Warsaw, North Carolina. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

She was predeceased by : her parents, Arthur Ray Wood and Louise Sloan Wood; her husband Francis Oakley; her great grandchild Samantha Batts; and her son-in-law Scotty Lockamy.

She is survived by : her children, Woody Oakley (Sara), Rebecca Lockamy and Ann Batts (Ronnie); and her grandchildren, Hayes Oakley (Carlie), Ross Oakley (Meg), Tamara Stevens (Daniel), Shawn Batts (Pam), Megan Fletcher (Joel), Ron Batts, Jessica Holmes (Brandon) and Margaret Batts. She is also survived by 18 great grandchildren.

The family requests in lieu of flowers that donations be made to Kenansville Baptist Church, PO Box 865, Kenansville, NC. 28349.
