He was predeceased by: his parents, William Gaston Rogers and Esther Woolard Rogers; and his sister Betty Apple. He is survived by: his wife Doris Jane Williams; his daughters, Jane Alligood of Washington, Debbie Hodges (Wayland) of Chocowinity and Blair Giles (Justin) of Pinetown; his grandchildren, Ryan Alligood, Brooke, Briley Hodges, Grayson, Dawson and Bryson Giles; and his siblings, Curtis Rogers of Washington, Jim Rogers of Washington, Wade Rogers of Plymouth and Judy Williams of Washington.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Old Ford Church of Christ, 6040 U.S. Highway 17 North, Washington, N.C. 27889.
