Sterling (Washington, North Carolina), born in Beaufort, North Carolina, who passed away on July 7, 2019, at the age of 75, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Lewis Henry Jordan and Edna Winstead Jordan Clark; her husband Hugh Martin Sterling, Jr.; and her siblings, Marjorie "Margie" Jordan and Lewis Jordan.
She is survived by: her daughters, Elizabeth Junak of New Bern and Cynthia Slusher of West Virginia; her grandchildren, Samantha Junak, Christina Junak, Alexandria Junak, Madison Slusher, Hannah Slusher and Sterling Slusher; and her sisters, Mae Nobles of Greenville, Linda Jordan of Greenville, Kay Brinn of Washington, Nelda Moore of Washington and Sheila Dixon of Black Jack.
