She is survived by: her husband Dwight Wayne Mize; her sons, Andrew Wayne Mize of Matthews, NC and Christopher Dwight Mize (Natalie Butler) of Charlotte, NC.; her stepson Douglas Wayne Mize (Janet) of Greer, SC; her stepgranddaughters, Rachel, Mary Katherine and Kayla; her stepchild Lauren Mize Phillips (Joe) of Marietta, GA; and her stepgrandchildren, Grey and Wesley.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, August 16th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Heritage Funeral and Cremation Services - Matthews Chapel (3700 Forest Lawn Dr, Matthews, NC 28104). A funeral service will be held on Sunday, August 17th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Sunday, August 17th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Oakwood Cemetery (114 N Oakwood Dr, Statesville, NC 28677).
A woman of deep and abiding Christian faith, Annette's life was guided by the messages of forgiveness, charity, and duty.
