She was predeceased by : her parents, Furman Lee and Wilsie Messer Chambers; her husband Carlton S. Maney; her son Robert Scott Lance; and her stepson Randy Maney.

She is survived by : her son Garrett Lance (Kathy); her daughter-in-law Diana Lance; her stepchildren, Rick Maney and Kim Maney Whitfield (John); her grandchildren, Candice Lance, Andrew Lance (Jennifer), Merritt Lance Tongen (Mark), Johnny Whitfield and Jennifer Whitfield Travis (Jesse); and her great grandchildren, Caleb, Hope McQuade, Laila, Liam Lance, Calder, Hayes, Hattie Katherine Tongen, John Franklin and Henry Travis.

A funeral service was held on Wednesday, May 1st 2024 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Hazelwood Presbyterian Church (368 Hazelwood Ave, Waynesville, NC 28786). Visitation was held on Wednesday, May 1st 2024 from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the same location.
