He was predeceased by: his parents, Grant Parrott and Mary Ruth Medford Parrott; his wife Clara Messer Parrott; and his siblings, Joann Joseph, Johnnie Ruth Davis, Bill, Jack, Ed and Kenneth Parrott.
He is survived by: his son Gregg Parrott (Michelle); his sister Jimmie Smathers; his grandchildren, Alex, Michael (Andrea), Seth and Sara Parrott; and his great grandchild Lucia Parrott.
Visitation will be held on Monday, July 21st 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Wells Funeral Home - Waynesville (296 N Main St, Waynesville, NC 28786). A funeral service will be held on Monday, July 21st 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to 7th Day Adventist Church, 119 Hampshire Dr, Waynesville, NC 28786.
