It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Helen Cagle Massie (Waynesville, North Carolina), who passed away on May 30, 2018, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parent Howard Hughes; her children, Charlene Parker and Michael Russell; and her brothers, Donald Cagle, Charles Cagle and Garry Cagle.
She is survived by: her parent Myrtle Brown Cagle; her husband Hugh Massie; her children, Kathilynn Russell of Asheville, Marla Sabins, Roland "Butch" Russell of Waynesville, Hugh J. Massie, Joy of Marietta, Danny Massie and Leslie of Canton; and her sisters, Susie Vinson of Waynesville, Sherry Burris of Waynesville and Keith of Waynesville. She is also survived by eleven grandchildren; fifteen great-grandchildren; many nieces and nephews.
