It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Julia Lanning of Waynesville, North Carolina, who passed away on January 28, 2021, at the age of 62, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by : her parents, James "Jim" Robert McElroy, Sr. and Betty Sue Hannah McElroy. She is survived by : her husband Ricky Gene Lanning, Sr.; her children, Stephanie Morgan (Jared) of Clyde, Ricky Lanning, Jr. (Karen) of Waynesville and Israel Lanning (Katie) of Waynesville; her grandchildren, Isaac, Chase, Mason Lanning and Ross Morgan; and her brother-in-law Jimmy Lanning.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made for funding research to Sarah Cannon Center for Blood Cancer at TriStar Centennial, 2410 Patterson Street, 5th Floor, Nashville, TN 37203.
