It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Louise N. Leatherwood (Waynesville, North Carolina), who passed away on February 27, 2025, at the age of 100, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband James H. Leatherwood; her parents, Grover Noland and Galar Baldwin Noland; and her siblings, Letha Clay, Atan Howell and Sam Noland.
She is survived by: her children, Linda Rogers (Harold) and James "Jim" Leatherwood (Mary); and her grandchildren, David T. Leatherwood (Amber), James Leatherwood, Jr. (Carmon), Sammie Leffler (David) and James Glen Rogers (Shelia). She is also survived by her five great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandsons, as well as one niece and two great-nieces.
