She was predeceased by: her parents, Houston Alton Kaiser and Lola Price Kaiser; her husband Joe Hickman; and her daughter Janice Williams. She is survived by: her sons, Phillip Hickman (Rhonda) and David Hickman; her sister Rhoda Jones (Morelle); and her grandchildren, Patricia McGuire Baumgartner, Dr. John Russel McGuire, Phyllis Hickman, Dr. Lauren Hickman Curnutt and Patrick Hickman. She is also survived by five great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 23rd 2025 from 12:15 PM to 1:15 PM at the Wells Funeral Home - Waynesville (296 N Main St, Waynesville, NC 28786). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, October 23rd 2025 from 1:30 PM to 2:30 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Thursday, October 23rd 2025 from 2:30 PM to 3:30 PM at the Hillcrest Memorial Park (886 Russ Ave, Waynesville, NC 28786).
