With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Peggy Ann Kirkpatrick Hunter of Waynesville, North Carolina, who passed away on March 4, 2025 at the age of 83. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, James Robert and Estie Haynes Kirkpatrick; her siblings, Willa Mae Teague, Bruce Kirkpatrick, Clarence Kirkpatrick and Wayne Kirkpatrick; and her great grandchildren, Madeline and Eleanor McEntire.
She is survived by: her husband Phil Hunter; her children, Jeff Hunter (Wanda), Leslie Hunter (Dawn) and Carla Palmer (Stephen); her grandchildren, Heather Hunter (Jamie McEntire), Phillip Hunter, Kaylee Hunter and Jacob Palmer (Hayley); and her great grandchildren, McKinley McEntire and Remi Rae Jenkins.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the White Oak Baptist Church Cemetery fund.
