He was predeceased by : his parents, Vaughn Rhinehart, Sr. and Eva Hooper Rhinehart; his wife Beulah Mae Hall Rhinehart; and his sons, Ronnie and Freddie Rhinehart.

He is survived by : his brother John Rhinehart (Julie); his friend Doris Messer; his granddaughter Tonya Southerland (Donald); and his great grandchildren, Jessica and Coty Houck. He is also survived by two great-great granddaughters and nine nieces and nephews.

Visitation was held on Tuesday, April 23rd 2024 at 1:00 PM at the Chapel of Garrett Funeral Home (460 N Main St, Clyde, NC 28721). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, April 23rd 2024 at 2:00 PM at the same location.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made in his name to St. Jude's Children's Hospital.
