She was predeceased by: her parents, John Hensley and Elizabeth Rice Hensley; her husband George W. Yearout, Jr.; her daughter Jewel Yearout; her siblings, Sarah Jane Duck, Mamie Hensley, Garrett, Baxter, Coy and William H. Hensley; her great grandchild Bailey Yearout; and her children-in-law, Ronald Surrett, Steve Davis, Michael Roberts and Nancy Yearout.
She is survived by: her children, Shela Davis of Asheville, Susan Taylor (Donald) of Leicester, Joy Nash (Ervin) of Leicester, Vera Lynn Roberts of Asheville and Leonard Ray Yearout; her brother Everett Hensley (Joyce); and her grandchildren, Richard Davis (Becky), Scott Yearout (Tommi), Jeffrey Surrett, Walter Davis, Joey Nash, Michael Roberts, II (Crystal), Jeremy Yearout (Rebecca), Tammy Peek, Tina Craig (Wayne) and Virginia Waldrup. She is also survived by nineteen great grandchildren and five great great grandchildren.
