It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joretta Mae Hall (Weaverville, North Carolina), who passed away on April 24, 2022, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Elender Carl Dillingham and Lula Vivian Carson Dillingham; her husband John Hugh Hall; and her siblings, Ella Jane Capps, Mabel Louise Dillingham, Elender Carl Dillingham, Jr., Charles Delano Dillingham and Lynn Parker.
She is survived by: her children, Richard Norman Hall, Sr. (Debra) of Starr, SC and Annette Hall of Jonesborough, TN; her sister Annabelle Cole of Augusta, GA.; her grandchildren, Leah Hall Hinds (Patrick), Caroline Hall Goldsmith (Adam), Richard Norman Hall, Jr. (Emily) and James Victor Hall; her great grandchildren, Madeline Elizabeth Hinds, Jacob Patrick Hinds, John Wyatt Goldsmith, Adaleigh Victoria Goldsmith, Ella Lucille Hall and William Carson Hall; her nieces and nephews, Beth Whittenburg of Jacksonville, FL, Janet Durden of Augusta, GA, Dwayne Crane of Barnardsville, NC., Gerald Parker of Barnardsville, NC. and Timothy Parker of Barnardsville, NC.; her great-nephew John Tyler Parham; and her great-niece Channing Gravitt.
