It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Lorraine Browning Merrill of Weaverville, North Carolina, who passed away on June 21, 2022, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her father Henry Browning; her husband E. V. Merrill; and her siblings, Frances Browning Pegg, Howard, Lloyd and Richard "Rip" Browning.
She is survived by: her son Ray Merrill (Linda); her sister Barbara Higgins; her grandsons, Jason Merrill (Sarah) and Jared Merrill (Jillian); and her great grandchildren, Lucy, Landon, Ian and Ava. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
