He is survived by: his wife Trudy Walker Collins; his children, Teresa Edwards (Dean) and Danny Collins (Susan); and his siblings, Shirley Hamlin and Charlie "Buster" Collins (Willie Mae).
Visitation was held on Thursday, May 29th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the West Funeral Home (17 Merrimon Ave, Weaverville, NC 28787). A funeral service was held on Thursday, May 29th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
