It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Rex Eugene Roberts (Weaverville, North Carolina), who passed away on December 4, 2021, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank W. Roberts and Annie D. Roberts; his former wife Carrie Holden Roberts; his wife Anne Worley Roberts; and his siblings, Josephine Lanning, Vivian Price (Bib), Gail Cutshall, June Bearden, Carrol Roberts and Jerry Dale.
He is survived by: his children, Teresa Massey and Chris E. Roberts; his grandson Zack Massey; his stepchildren, Susan Jordan and Mike Worley (Susan); his stepgrandchildren, Chris Jordan (Tonia), Alex Worley (Audrey), Adam Worley (Laura), Andrea Bava (Stephen), Tyler Worley and Kindsey Worley; and his siblings, Lorette Plemmons, Ervin Roberts and Lynn Roberts. He is also survived by six step-great-grandchildren.
