It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Roma Lee Cooper Anderson (Weaverville, North Carolina), who passed away on May 23, 2025, at the age of 72, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Arthur Lane and Edith Payne Cooper; her husband Rev. Marvin E. Anderson; and her sisters, Joyce and Doris.
She is survived by: her daughters, Loria Bradley (Travis) of Weaverville and Sandra Fields (Danny) of Weaverville; her granddaughters, Felica (Leeann), Ashley (Clint), Candice (Tim), Jasmine and Briana (Josh); her great grandchildren, Toby, Dakota, Jackson, Waylon, Catalina, CarriAnne and Synnthia; and her brothers, Ricky, James, Piney, Junior and Ray.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, May 31st 2025 from 10:15 AM to 11:15 AM at the Union Valley Freewill Baptist Church (169 Ox Crk Rd, Weaverville, NC 28787). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, May 31st 2025 at 11:30 AM at the same location.
