He was predeceased by: his parents, Barbara Ann Pickren and William Franklin Baxley. He is survived by: his wife Michele Baxley of Weddington, NC; his daughters, Jane Bowers (Harrison) of Weddington, NC, Joy Baxley of Alpharetta, GA and Samantha Baxley of Los Angeles, CA; his siblings, Ricky Gowan of Kountz, TX, Kenneth Baxley and Leigh Ann Hogan of Opelika, AL; his stepsons, Christopher Leege (Lindsey) of Gansevoort, NY and Andrew Leege (Lizzy) of Wilton, NY; his grandchildren, Bennett Leege and Georgi Leege; and his pets, Little Man and Pip.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, June 24th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Heritage Funeral Home (3700 Forest Lawn Dr, Matthews, NC 28104). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, June 24th 2025 at 12:15 PM at the same location.
