He is survived by : his mother Pearl Varnell Carraway; his wife Joan Mitchell Carraway; his children, Sherri Clayborne (Anthony) and Mike Carraway (Jane); and his sisters, Millicent Holloman and Jo Ann Carraway. He is also survived by five grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
