She was predeceased by : her parents, Roy Cooper Hart and Helen Floyd Hart; her husband Michael C. Averette, Sr.; and her siblings, Dorothy Currin, Margaret Satterwhite, Dennis Oâ and Brien.
She is survived by : her sons, Michael Curtis Averette, Jr. (Angie) of Henderson and Benjamin James Averette (Anna) of Creedmoor; her grandsons, James Alexander Averette, John Madison Averette of Henderson and Charles Bernard Averette of Creedmoor; and her siblings, Mary Langham of Maryville, TN, Delia Owens of Stovall and Floyd Hart of Oxford.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Island Creek Baptist Church, 950 Stagecoach Road, Henderson, NC 27537.
