With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Janelle Lynette Moody Hargrove of Weldon, North Carolina, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on June 3, 2025 at the age of 47. As we bid farewell to this cherished soul, solace is taken in the memories held dear — the laughter shared, the wisdom imparted, the moments of quiet reflection in their presence. Though Janelle Lynette Moody may no longer walk among us, her spirit lives on in the echoes of her kindness, the warmth of her embrace, and the light of her enduring love.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Roscoe Moody and Carol Lee Robinson Moody.
Viewing will be held on Sunday, June 15th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Cofield Mortuary (501 W 3rd St, Weldon, NC 27890). The lying in state will be held on Monday, June 16th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Cool Spring Missionary Baptist Church (120 Cherry St, Gaston, NC 27832). A celebration of life will be held on Monday, June 16th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
