She was predeceased by: her parents, Charlie Straughan and Gertrude Straughan. She is survived by: her daughter Tammy Thomason (Jack); her grandchildren, Heather Thompson, Jayme Keener (Allan), Casey Ebron (Jimmy), Johnathan Thomason (Morgan) and Matthew Thomason; and her great grandchildren, Carson Thompson, Brayden Ebron, Kloie Ebron, Camryn Ebron and Hudson Keener.
A funeral service will be held on Saturday, July 26th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the Baptist Tabernacle Church (1599 NC-231, Wendell, NC 27591).
In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to Baptist Tabernacle Church, 1599 NC Hwy 231, Wendell, NC or to Kennedy Children's Home – Baptist Children's Homes of NC 2557 Cedar Dell Lane, Kinston, NC 28504.
