He is survived by: his wife Cresta Muhlestein Simmons; his children, Kimber Christian (Brock) of Selma, Markie Pope (Jason) of Knightdale and Cory Simmons (Heather Dickey) of Knightdale; his siblings, Karl Edward Simmons (Jonnie) of Wendell, Theresa Hinkle (Roscoe) of Petersburg, WV and Jayton Simmons (Chandra) of Beverly, WV; and his grandchildren, Payton, Jacob, Luke, Sawyer, Carlie, Caroline, Hunter, Tanner and Mckenna.
