In loving memory of Rebecca Sue Nowell Bridgers of Wendell, North Carolina, who departed this world on June 12, 2025 at the age of 92. Rebecca Sue Nowell leaves behind a legacy remembered by family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Benjamin Franklin Nowell and Edna Mitchell Nowell; her husband Shelton Vaden Bridgers; her daughter Brenda Sue Bridgers; and her siblings, Bobby Nowell, Grady Nowell and Betty Boyle.

She is survived by: her sons, Glenn Bridgers (Karen) and Warren Bridgers (Cathy); her sister Linda Driver; her grandchildren, Paige Linderman (Stephen), Stephen Bridgers, Adam Bridgers, Ben Bridgers (Sarah), Lori Bridgers, Morgan Bridgers and Timmy Bridgers; and her great grandchildren, Juliette, Scarlett, Hunter, Colton and Everette.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial donations be made to the Wendell United Methodist Church Preschool, P. O. Box 1925, Wendell, NC 27591.
