She was predeceased by: her parents, Benjamin Franklin Nowell and Edna Mitchell Nowell; her husband Shelton Vaden Bridgers; her daughter Brenda Sue Bridgers; and her siblings, Bobby Nowell, Grady Nowell and Betty Boyle.
She is survived by: her sons, Glenn Bridgers (Karen) and Warren Bridgers (Cathy); her sister Linda Driver; her grandchildren, Paige Linderman (Stephen), Stephen Bridgers, Adam Bridgers, Ben Bridgers (Sarah), Lori Bridgers, Morgan Bridgers and Timmy Bridgers; and her great grandchildren, Juliette, Scarlett, Hunter, Colton and Everette.
A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, June 17th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Wendell United Methodist Church (129 N Main St, Wendell, NC 27591).
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial donations be made to the Wendell United Methodist Church Preschool, P. O. Box 1925, Wendell, NC 27591.
