He is survived by: his wife Alberta Jones; his children, Sharon Carter of Raleigh, NC, Pamela Dunn (Anthony) of Wendall, NC and Reginald Miles of Houston, Texas.; his grandchildren, Dyshon, Mike-Mike, Vanita, Kyree, Leyron, Latrell, LaShay, Natalie, TahNesha, Alyssa, Jessica, Adorya, Mikayla, Trey, Sir, Jazmine, Jordan and Zoey; and his brothers, Elijah Jones of Durham, NC and Bobby Smith of New York.

Viewing was held on Thursday, July 31st 2025 from 1:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Trice Funeral Home Chapel (127 N West St, Fuquay-Varina, NC 27526). Visitation was held on Friday, August 1st 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Faith Missionary Baptist Church (908 Suffolk Blvd, Raleigh, NC 27603). A funeral service was held on Friday, August 1st 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
