Though Charles Whitfield may no longer walk among us, his spirit lives on in the memories held dear by his family and friends, a guiding light that illuminates their paths in times of darkness.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Whitfield Cox Sr. and Thelma Harris Cox; and his brother Lonnie Reynolds. He is survived by: his wife Sheila Kiker Cox; and his children, Daniel Cox (Megan), Hayleigh, Grant, Matt Cox (Julia), Jamison and Vivian. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
A celebration of life was held on Tuesday, May 27th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Siler Presbyterian Church (6301 Weddington-Monroe Road, Wesley Chapel, NC 28104).
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Siler Presbyterian Church, WCWAA Baseball, or Hospice of Union County.
