Karen Lynn Horvath Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Karen Lynn Horvath of Wesley Chapel, North Carolina, who passed away on May 15, 2025 at the age of 69. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Karen Lynn Horvath to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Gerard Crean and Gertrude Crean; her daughter Denise Horvath; and her grandchildren, Kayla, Jake, Cole, Justin, Reagan, Ryan, Noelle, Evan, Lydia, Dylan, Marlowe, Alexa, Caleb, Emma, Ella and Evie.
She is survived by: her husband Brad Horvath; her children, Cindy Hoover (Rob), Bonnie Brewer, Sharon Iannetto (Joe), Kristi Wilkerson (Kellen), Dave Horvath (Sarah), Therese, Donna Crean, Debbie Smith, Judy Heffernan (Paul), Gerry Crean (Colette) and Mark Crean (Denise); and her pets, Freckles and Amber.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, May 20th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM, on Wednesday, May 21st 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Heritage Funeral Home (3700 Forest Lawn Dr, Matthews, NC 28104). A funeral Mass was held on Thursday, May 22nd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. Matthew Catholic Church (8015 Ballantyne Commons Pkwy, Charlotte, NC 28277).
In addition to flowers, the family kindly asks that donations be made in Karen's memory to the Alzheimer's Association, in hopes of one day finding a cure for this devastating disease.
