With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Carl Simmons (West Jefferson, North Carolina), who passed away on July 15, 2019 at the age of 86. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas Simmons and Effie Greene Simmons; and his son Terry Freeman Simmons. He is survived by: his wife Mary Simmons; his children, Thomas "Tommy" Simmons (Cathy) of West Jefferson and Teresa Simmons Smith (Scott) of Grover; his brother Kenneth Ray Simmons of Hudson; and his daughter-in-law Tammy Simmons of Thomasville. He is also survived by 6 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren, 2 great-great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
