She was predeceased by: her former husbands, Gary Wyatt and Paul Fowler; and her granddaughter Meredith Jane Wyatt. She is survived by: her children, Mary Charlene Wyatt Herberger (Steven) of Cary, Michael Gary Wyatt (Debbie) of Goldsboro, Alan Conley Wyatt (Jane) of Sparta and Timothy Paul Fowler (Angie) of Greensboro; her grandchildren, Adam C. Wyatt (Jennifer) of Wake Forest, Ashley Wyatt Edwards (Erik) of Seven Springs, Emily Wyatt Smith of Raleigh, Mitchell Gary Wyatt (Lora) of Wadesboro, Elizabeth Wyatt Jerger (Caroline) of Raleigh, Justin Wyatt Herberger of Raleigh, Hayley June Herberger of Cary, Michael Steven Herberger of Cary, Ty Martin Fowler of Greensboro and Riley Cox Fowler of Greensboro; her great grandchildren, Emma Wyatt, Alex Wyatt, Amelia Wyatt, Abigail Edwards, Charlie Grace Edwards, Lilah Smith, Wyatt Smith, Cooper Wyatt and Owen Wyatt; and her sisters, June Cox Zimmerman of Piney Creek and Faye Cox Caldwell of Piney Creek. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
