She was predeceased by: her daughters, Peggy Ward and Carolyn Ward Wilson; and her sisters, Margie Williams, Leonia Husfelt and Ola Shivery.
She is survived by: her sons, Michael Permenter of Maryland, Randall Permenter of Maryland, Warren Permenter of Maryland, Gary Permenter of Maryland, Jeff Ward, Tonya Wilkins of Florida and Darrell Wilkins (Sarah) of West Jefferson; and her sisters, Patricia Pennington of West Jefferson, Virginia Sheets of Pennsylvania and Barbara Lindsey of Pennsylvania. She is also survived by ten grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
