He was predeceased by: his son Ilean Miller; and his parents, Henry Paul and Rosa Belle Miller. He is survived by: his children, Kelly Miller London (Glenn) of Maiden, NC, Brandon Miller (Lauren) of Charlotte, Marty Miller of Charlotte and Rusty Miller (Melinda) of Goodview, VA; his stepson Tony Miller (Catherine) of Myrtle Beach, SC; his grandchildren, Samantha Pennell (Brad) of Mooresville, Brad Miller (Jeannie) of Shelby and Katie Elswick (Cody) of Moneta, VA; his great grandchildren, Tony Miller, Timothy Miller, Ashton Shepherd of Shelby and Asher Eiswick of Moneta, VA; and his siblings, Brenda Hartzog (Jacob) of Pinnacle and Warren Miller (Sylvia) of Warrensville. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
