She was predeceased by: her parents, Hilton Lewis and Cisco Lewis; her husband Ganes Hicks; and her siblings, Bessie Jones, Edgar Lewis, Meredith Lewis, Kermit Lewis, Raymond Lewis, Mack Lewis, Leither Lewis, Roy Lewis, Jack Lewis, Lennie Bledsoe and Ora Lee Grogan.
She is survived by: her children, Wayne Hicks (Jane) of Welch, WV, Sue Hicks of Abingdon, VA and Cheryl Hicks of West Jefferson, NC.; her grandchildren, Lisa Dolan, Scott Hicks, Wayne Hicks II and Amy Gray; her great grandchildren, Ashley Reed, Matt Hicks, Alexander Hicks, Zachary Hicks, Sam Hicks, Zachary Dickerson, John Hargis, Chelsea Dolan, Rylee Dolan, Zoe Gray and Holly Hicks; and her great great grandchildren, Cady Reed, Nathan Reed, Nicholas Hicks, Autumn Reed, Caroline Reed and Baby Boy Reed. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and many loving friends.
