He was loved and cherished by many people including: his brother Max Payne; his wife Mary Sue Miller Payne; his son Eric Payne (Teresa) of Fleetwood; and his granddaughter Tonya Hurst (Richard) of Winston Salem. He was also cherished by several nieces and nephews.
