She was predeceased by: her stepmother Dorothy Anderson; and her siblings, Hazel Bartlebaugh, Alma Rector, Annie Reed Andrews, Bazil Anderson, Amos Anderson, Clifton Anderson and James "Smokey" Anderson.
She is survived by: her husband Roy Jefferson; her children, Ricky McVicker (Sheila) of Wilkesboro and Lorraine Bell (Tom) of Sanford; and also, Bel Jefferson and West Jefferson.
