He was predeceased by: his parents, Lilard Drury and Phoebe Elizabeth Patrick; his children, Jennie Salmons and Robert Patrick; and his grandchildren, Meagan Elaine Miller, Angie Salmons and Brandon Patrick.
He is survived by: his wife Sarah Patrick; his daughters, Brenda Jones of West Jefferson, Sandi Houg of Purlear and Teresa Patrick (Kenneth) of West Jefferson; his grandchildren, Tonya Barrett (Preston), Keisha R-Patrick (Omar), Daphne Henson (Rob), DeAnna Black (Randy), Nathan Phipps (Erin), Jason Miller, Bryan Patrick (Alyson Johnson) and Kena Patrick; his great grandchildren, Kierra Trivette, Stefon, Mia, Bria Barrett, Akon, Carolina R-Patrick, Anya, Nyanne, River Tucker, Ian Henson, Lukas, Leah Gentry, McKenzie Black, Rylee, Mallory, Delaney Phipps, Blakely, Kaiden Miller, Gabriella Patrick, Seth, Tierra and Chase Johnson; his sister Elizabeth Hoosier of Winston Salem; and his friend Tommy Shaw. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews who considered him their Daddy.
