She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph Gantt and Elva Gill Gantt; her husband Edward Lee Wilkins; and her sons, Tyrone, Edward Wilkins, Wilbert and Junius Redcross.
She is survived by: her children, LaVerne Williams of Hampton, VA., LaVerna Worsley of New York, NY., Chander Barber, Zelva Warren (Weldon) of Hampton, VA., Edwina Wilkins-Drew (Andrew) of Washington, D. C. and Edwin Wilkins (Cynthia) of Suffolk, VA.. She is also survived by eighteen grandchildren, thirty-seven great-grandchildren; ten great-great-grandchildren; sister-in-law.
