He is survived by: his wife Mi Suklee White of Whiteville, NC; his children, Heather Christine Holmes (Eric) and Preston LaRue White (Yuiko); his siblings, Marion W, Nancy W. Pearsall, Penny Lynn of Clarkton, NC, Tammy Young (Charles), Phil White of Wilmington, NC and Larry White (Beth); and his sister-in-law Sheila White. He is also survived by five grandchildren.
