He was predeceased by: his parent Geneva Fowler Hayes. He is survived by: his parent Hassie Adolphus Hayes; his wife Elaine R. Hayes of Whiteville; his daughters, Courtney L. Hayes of Hallsboro and Brittany N. Hayes of Tabor City; and his grandchildren, Aiden Russ, Wyatt Torelli, Justin Russ, Carmela Torelli and Brinleigh Norris.
