She was predeceased by : her parents, Thomas Vardell Barden and Elma Elizabeth Wilton Barden; and her brothers, Danny, Tommy and David.

She is survived by : her siblings, Julie Barden, Susan Shelley Sparrow of Whiteville and Ronnie Barden of Clayton.

It would so please her, in honor of her life, if donations would be sent to Columbus Humane Society for their spay, neuter and adoption programs at PO Box 742, Whiteville, NC 28472.
