He was predeceased by: his parents, James Cleveland Murray Sr. and Mary McCraw Murray; his son Tony Ray Murray Sr.; his grandson Tony R. Murray Jr.; and his siblings, Margaret Murray Nelson, Nancy Murray Axsom and Timothy Jackson Murray.
He is survived by: his daughters, Teresa Murray Ward and Tracy Murray Holder; his grandchildren, Tyler C. Ward, Paige E. Ward, Brandon T. Holder (Megan Holder), Brooke A. Holder and Crystal Murray; his great grandchild Cylas Wayne Bailey; his brother Jerry Wayne Murray Sr. (Esther Murray); and his close friend Susan Brooks. He is also survived by the mother of his children, grandchildren.
